# Set up the Static files scope

Before creating a Static files scope, configure the following in your nullplatform account:

- A **cloud provider** with DNS zone information set
- An **assets repository** provider backed by S3 or Blob Storage
- **Agent environment variables** for the OpenTofu state backend
- **Agent cloud permissions** to manage CDN distributions, DNS records, and storage access
