Approves a request using its ID.

📄️ Execute an approved request
Starts the action behind an approved request (a deployment, a scope, a set of changes). Use it when the request is approved but the action waits for someone to start it. That is the case with the `explicit` [`execution_trigger`](/docs/approvals/checklist-specs#choose-what-starts-the-approved-action) of a checklist specification, and with a reviewer's approval when the trigger is `automatic_approval`.
📄️ Cancel a request
Cancels a request. Only a request that is `pending`, or that is approved (`approved` or `auto_approved`) and hasn't started executing, can be cancelled. A request that stayed `executing` for more than 60 seconds can be cancelled too.
📄️ Dry-run an approval
Resolves the approval action a real request would resolve and previews the result without creating a request. In checklist mode, conditions are evaluated for real while manual and external items report what they would wait for.
